Prayer of confession of sinfulness used in the Mass of the Roman Catholic Church known as Confiteor - Latin for "I confess", of which the first evidence date from shortly before 1100. The phrase "mea culpa" appears in the prayer from the 16th century.

Those saying the prayer beat their breast at the italicized words. The pre-1970 Roman Missal specified that that should be done three times. Anglican Missals have the same prayer

How do I put a quote on a picture?

How do I change the look of the quote on a picture?

Simply make sure there are "blue squares" at the corners of the quote and then select one of the many tools above to change the look of your quote to suit the picture.

How do I change the picture to a different one?

Simply click the "Change Background Picture" button and click on any of the picture thumbnails you see to replace the current picture.

How can I see all the quotes by a particular Author?

Simply click on the name of the Author underneath a quote to see a list of all the quotes by that Author.

Another way to see all the quotes by a particular Author is to click on the alphabet letter in the header that corresponds to the first letter of the Author's last name. Then select the Author you want from the list to see a list of all the quotes by that Author.

How can I see all the quotes on a particular Topic?

Simply click on the Topic menu item and you will see an alphabetical list of all our Topics. Click the topic you are interested in to see a list of all the quotes on that Topic.
