Which in my opinion is a great shame,
And a dishonour to the city's name.

William McGonagall performed in a circus, where customers would pelt him with herrings, eggs flour and vegetables. The events would become so raucous that the city magistrates were forced to put a ban on them.

Another way to see all the quotes by a particular Author is to click on the alphabet letter in the header that corresponds to the first letter of the Author's last name. Then select the Author you want from the list to see a list of all the quotes by that Author.

How can I see all the quotes on a particular Topic?

Simply click on the Topic menu item and you will see an alphabetical list of all our Topics. Click the topic you are interested in to see a list of all the quotes on that Topic.
