Men hiding their evolution animal behind the cloth - For the sake of power or the fact that they are Simply inadequate human beings. Books written by men who simply Want to control people through fear. It's all changed from "Why did we have a good harvest", to "Why did we not have a good harvest'. Oh, yes a god must be not pleased - so , lets sacrifice a virgin, that will fix it. Women are STILL being hanged for being a witch in 2011. Nine million children die every year - where is god, or 'punishment' of any kind for the MEN over millenia who have perpetrated the atrocities? Some think, that if they are very, very, very good, They may hang about in the spiritual life, And maybe come back as, say, Ra. BUT if they are bad, they may come back as a cockroach. Oh, yes, they say, they will pay for it in the next life - Just not good enough. Bad luck we don't have any memory of a past life, eh. Name one supposed civilized 'group' that professes to be kind, civilized, empathetic, spiritual in ANY way - and that group, any group, will 'use' women, but NEVER recognize as an equal. Nah, I have music, I have a sunrise, I have art, I have beautiful views, I have joy without the supernatural or bogeymen, I have a man who treats me with respect and love and who never lies to me. A human can't ask for more than that. I am happy.

I sometimes wonder, if a person lives a lie for their whole life, is there a time they regret it, and realise how much they have lost, by not being true to themselves, and not being who they really are?

It is really sad, and one must feel sorry for people who feel the need, or even imperitive, to hide their real nature from everybody, including even themselves. How empty he must be.
