Angus, the youngest of eight children, moved, with his parents  to Sydney in 1963 with his older brothers Malcolm, George and Alex, and sister Margaret.                          
Lead guitarist of Australian hard rock band AC/DC.
Ranked 96th on Rolling Stone's list the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.

Can I Sit Next To You Girl", their first single, was later re-recorded with Bon Scott as their vocalist. Bon Scott replace Dave Evans in 1974. Bon died in 1980, age 33 years old.

Scott's family buried him in Fremantle, Western Australia.

Brian Johnson of the British glam rock band Geordie, became the next lead singer.

Brian Johnson's first album with AC/DC, Back in Black, is the band's best selling album and ranks second among the top-selling albums, trailing only Michael Jackson's Thriller, which was released in 1982.

They got the name AC/DC after seeing the letters "AC/DC" on the back of a sewing machine owned by their sister, Margaret.                          
Angus, at eighteen years old, with his older brother Malcolm at 20, formed AC/DC in 1973 with Angus on lead guitar, Malcolm on rhythm guitar, Colin Burgess on drums, Larry Van Kriedt on bass guitar and Dave Evans on vocals.

The original Boys School Uniform  was from his secondary school, Ashfield Boys High School in Sydney. Angus was 18 years old when he donned the schoolboy outfit, and had long left school.
