Dr. John Heller headed criminal medical experiments regarding syphillis and gonorrhea without their consent, along with his wife, including Guatemala and the Tuskegee experiment between 1946 and 1948, at the same time as the Nuremberg trials.

There were thirteen published studies of the Tuskegee human experiments, where victims were called 'volunteers.'
Journalists published the real story of the atrocities in 1972.

Treatment was actively withheld from the men, yet they were told they were being treated for “bad blood”. The experiment ran in Guatemala from 1932 until it was exposed in 1972.

John Cutler had syphilis poured onto scrapes made on men’s penises, arms and faces, or sometimes had it injected directly by spinal puncture.

His wife, Eliese, helped by taking hundred of photos of men’s penises to document the research.

Professor Susan M Reverby of Wellesley College published in Journal of Policy History, bought it to the attention of the public.
