How do I put a quote on a picture?

Simply click on a quote anywhere on the Quotation Fun site, and you will be taken to the Pictures page where your quote will be displayed on a random picture from our collection.

How do I change the look of the quote on a picture?

Simply make sure there are "blue squares" at the corners of the quote and then select one of the many tools above to change the look of your quote to suit the picture.

How do I change the picture to a different one?

Simply click the "Change Background Picture" button and click on any of the picture thumbnails you see to replace the current picture.

How can I see all the quotes by a particular Author?

Simply click on the name of the Author underneath a quote to see a list of all the quotes by that Author.

Another way to see all the quotes by a particular Author is to click on the alphabet letter in the header that corresponds to the first letter of the Author's last name. Then select the Author you want from the list to see a list of all the quotes by that Author.

How can I see all the quotes on a particular Topic?

Simply click on the Topic menu item and you will see an alphabetical list of all our Topics. Click the topic you are interested in to see a list of all the quotes on that Topic.

Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded Pierre Curie, Marie Curie, and Henri Becquerel the Nobel Prize in Physics - 1903, the first woman to be awarded the Nobel Prize.

Nobel Prize in Chemistry - 1911

Marie is the only woman to have won two Nobel Prizes, and the only person to have won Nobel Prizes in two different science fields.

Polonium may have been the first chemical element named to highlight a political question, namely the independence of Poland, her country of birth.

Maria ad husband Pierre Curie shared the Nobel Prize for Physics - 1903.

Their daughter Irène Curie, later known as  Irene Joliot-Curie with her husband Frédéric Joliot-Curie, also shared a Nobel Prize for Chemistry - 1935.
